Located in Sydney, he's honed his craft through self-produced shorts, music videos, and corporate work before channelling his creative energy into narrative feature filmmaking. Known for his offbeat humour, layered characters, and self-reflexive storytelling, Blake draws inspiration from filmmakers like Matt Johnson, Joel Haver, and the DIY spirit of early internet culture. His debut feature, GunBlade & Me, is a deeply personal and darkly comic exploration of ego, friendship, and the search for creative legacy. Shot on a shoestring budget, the film blurs the line between documentary and fiction.
