Once they arrive at the 89th parallel, the explorers are left to themselves, planes and support teams drop and go and so a 10-day walk to the South Pole begins. As challenges arise Juan reminisces on conversations, he had with first adventurers to fly in special costumes over Antarctica. Our explorers continue on their journey and learn of a brand of off-road vehicles especially prepared to tour the continent without leaving more than their track marks.
